I'm looking for a UF204 diode but since it's scarce and difficult to find, can I use FR204. They have similar properties except for the operating temperature. UF204 has -55 to +50 while FR204 has -65 to +150. Please advise if this is possible as an alternative? |

Correction UF205 has -55 to +150. |

Sorry UF204 not UF205. |

Voltages, amperage, even time recovery are not the only criteria to check. That diode is certified for some rating against fire (when "exploding") which is required under some circumstances (military or otherwise). Hard for us to say if it is ok, in your case. |
